[PRESS RELEASE FROM BARBOUR COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE] On 05/20/2017, between approximately 10:00-11:00, five inmates escaped from the Barbour County Jail. At the time of discovery, a hole was found in the concrete wall of the cell block where it was determined that the inmates climbed out of during the storm that night.
